Sat Dec 13 - Weekend Special Edition - Tipsbulletin Newsletter

Hi there,

You know that feeling when you discover something so good you just have to share it? That's exactly what we've done this week. We've handpicked three absolute gems that stood out above the rest. Pour yourself a cup of something warm, and let's dive into the best of what this week has to offer.

In this recap:

  • How to Clean Leather Shoes

  • Getting Pet Hair Out of Clothes

  • Plants that Naturally Clean Indoor Air

  • Top Tip: Get Rid of 8-Legged Visitors

CLEANING

We once ruined a favorite pair of leather boots by tossing them in the washing machine; turns out that soap and water aren't always the answer. These eight smart tips will keep shoes looking polished without the guesswork or expensive products.

CLEANING

We've all pulled out a favorite sweater only to find it covered in a layer of fur that seems impossible to remove. These clever techniques transform that frustrating chore into a quick fix, so clothes come out looking fresh and ready to wear.

PLANTS & GARDEN

NASA scientists discovered that certain houseplants can remove up to 87% of indoor air toxins in just 24 hours. We rounded up 14 beautiful, hard-working plants that clean the air while adding life to any room.

TIP OF THE WEEK

Want Spiders Gone Without the Chemical Warfare?

A spray bottle filled with equal parts white vinegar and water is an excellent non-toxic spider deterrent . Spray baseboards, windowsills, door frames, and any corners where webs appear, then wipe with a microfiber cloth.

Repeat every 3 to 4 days for 2 weeks, then weekly. The acetic acid in vinegar disrupts spiders' sensory organs, making treated areas unpleasant without harming kids, pets, or surfaces.
