CLEANING

We’ve all been there—one minute, you’re jotting down notes, and the next, there’s ink all over your favorite shirt. Did you know that a little hairspray can work wonders on those stubborn ink stains?

MABEL’S WISDOM

A Tried-and-True Saucepan Cleaner

Back in my day, we didn't have fancy cleaners to tackle burnt-on food in our pots. Here's a simple trick I used that works like a charm.

First, sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda over the burned area. Add just enough water to make a paste and let it sit overnight. The next morning, scrub it gently with a sponge, and you'll see that stubborn food lift right off.

Remember, sometimes the old ways are the best. Happy cleaning from Grandma!

PLANTS & GARDEN

Have you ever wondered how to bring lush greenery to those shady spots on your patio? We discovered that some beautiful plants thrive with minimal sunlight and care, perfect for bringing life to any corner.

TIP OF THE DAY

Is Your Baby's Laundry Ready a Good Clean?

Treat those precious clothes to a soak in warm water and a cup of baking soda. Let them sit for about an hour before washing.

This helps lift stains and neutralize odors naturally. Plus, it's gentle on your baby's sensitive skin!
