Start by unplugging the fan or turning off the power. Remove the filter and soak it in hot, soapy water for about 10 minutes. Use a soft brush to scrub away the grease.

Rinse and let it dry completely before putting it back. For the fan blades, a damp cloth with a bit of baking soda will do wonders. Wipe them down gently, and voilà! Your fan is ready to work its magic again.
